LIEBERMAN, LINDA

LIEBERMAN, LINDA

"Ecologically, man cannot ignore what feeds him socially, politically, economically and spiritually".

Lieberman is a Scottish born Photographer and Sculptor living and working in London. Her work draws its inspiration from the changing ecology and environment around her. Her photographic images have recently been described by a critic as 'visceral' and 'demanding', which suggests the urgency about their subject matter; the oceans and seas which face an unpredictable future.

The images combine the sinuous and sensual lines of the human body with creatures from the sea. Each is a beautiful example of the dichotomy between the natural world and mankind's devastating effect on it.
